Fan Art: AHS Demon

The visual designs in the American Horror Story series have always captivated me, particularly a frightening demon by Concept Artist Darrell Abney in the opening to the season 3 show. Its presence is quite gripping so I wanted to explore its composition and complexity a bit through this tribute/fan art project. As opposed to directly copying the concept, I've defined its persona in a slightly different way. Sculpt in ZBrush, retopology and character rigging in Houdini, texture applied in Substance Painter, and rendered in Redshift and Marmoset Toolbag. Integrated into Unity for augmented reality visualization using the Microsoft HoloLens.
